On September 27 local time, China Gezhouba Group International Engineering Co., Ltd (CGGC Intl), a subsidiary of Energy China, signed an EPC contract with Laos Wangs Investment Co., Ltd. on Attapu 300mw Solar Power Plant Project with a contract price of approximately USD 450 million. The project is currently the largest photovoltaic power station in Laos.

Energy China CGGC entered the Laos market in 1990s; since then, the group has undertaken a dozen key projects such as Houay Lamphan Gnai Hydropower Station and Saralong Irrigation Project, and won several awards such as the Special Contribution to State Power.
