On November 6th local time, China Gezhouba Group Three Gorges Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Energy China, received the notice of winning the bid of Water Diversion Power Generation System Construction Project of Yebatan Hydropower Station on the Upper Reaches of Jinsha River.

The total installed capacity of the Yebatan Hydropower Project is 2,240 MW. It is the hydropower project with the largest installed capacity on the upper reaches of the Jinsha River. It is mainly based on power generation and has comprehensive benefits such as flood control, environmental protection, soil and water conservation and tourism development. It is an important component of the southwest hydropower base construction.
