Located in UAE Umm AI Quwain, the project will build a sea water desalination plant with a daily output of 150MIGD (about 682,000 tons/day), including design, procurement, construction, commissioning and test of supporting sea water intake and discharge facilities and water storage tanks. The contract duration is 33 months. The project adopts advanced "membrane" sea water desalination technology to provide 680,000 tons of purified drinking water per day, reducing power consumption by 20% compared with ordinary sea water desalination technology.
