On 21st June, undertaken by CGGC,a subsidiary of Energy China， 6 units of underground power station of Wudonde hydropower station were successfully capped, representing an important achievement of milestone.

Wudongde Hydropower Station is located on the Jinsha River in the junction of Huidong County in Sichuan Province and Luquan County in Yunnan Province of China. 12 hydroelectric generating units with a capacity of 850MW are installed in total. The project plans to put into operation in December 2021, and will become the fourth largest hydropower station in China and the seventh largest in the world. CGGC has undertaken 75% of the main construction works of this project.
