The Ravine Town Pipe Network of Kenya Chemususu Water Supply Distribution Project Officially Supplied Water

On June 7th local time, the Ravine Town Pipe Network of Kenya Chemususu Water Supply Distribution Project , contracted by Energy China, officially supplied water. Therefore, clean and reassured tap water was accessible for local residents.

William Ruto, vice president of Kenya, attended the ceremony of supplying water and inaugurated the Ravine Town water supply station. He listened to the present construction progress report and inspected the project achievements and construction roadmap. He gave full recognition to all work of this project.


The Chemususu Water Supply Distribution Project, constructed by Guangxi Hydroelectric Construction Bureau,a subsidiary of Energy China, was invested by Kenyan government. It was Kenyan's important construction project which includes a water treatment plant with capacity of 35,000 cubic meters per day, a water network pipe with length of 235,000 meters, 25 reservoirs and affiliated projects. The water shortage problem for residents in western district of Baringo County would be improved after the construction of the project.
