China-Myanmar Renewable Energy Development Forum was held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar
On July 5th, the China-Myanmar Renewable Energy Development Forum was held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar (“Forum”). As one of the organizers, the Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute (“EPPEI”), a subsidiary of Energy China, presented a keynote speech entitled “Renwable Energy Integration Technology and Energy Storage Development”.

Via the keynote speech, EPPEI introduced the current development of China's new energy industry, the development status and main development direction of China’s renwable energy integration technology and energy storage technology, with presentation of outlook of strengthening cooperation in renwable energy sector between China and Myanmar. Experts from China and Myanmar also conducted in-depth discussions on topics including renewable energy policy system and price mechanism, integrated energy development practices such as water-solar complementary and agriculture-solar complementary, and renwable energy power generation equipment.

About 60 government officials and experts from the Myanmar Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the Myanmar Renewable Energy Committee and the Myanmar Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation attended the Forum.
