China Gezhouba Group, a subsidiary of Energy China (@EnergyChinaNews), signed an EPC contract with Trading Construction Works Organization for the Ca Mau 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D Wind Power Plant Project on November 11th. With a capacity of 350MW, this project will be the largest intertidal wind project as well as the largest wind power project in Vietnam to date. After completion, it will generate 1.1 billion kWh of electricity, save 450,000 tons of coal and reduce 880,000 tons of carbon dioxide emission annually. During the construction and operation periods, the project will promote the development of related industries and create more job opportunities for locals.
