During the Spring Festival of 2020, over 500 working personnel of the Hai Duong project in Vietnam, invested and constructed by Energy China, remained to work in the frontline of construction. The project EPC department gave priority to working personnel’s life and health, and accordingly established the COVID-19 virus prevention mechanism and control team. Under the guidance of Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, EPC department took various emergency response measures, including purchasing and reserving epidemic prevention equipment such as masks, disinfectant, recording and reporting the temperature of working personnel on a daily basis, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting of construction site, working area and residency. Besides, quarantine and temperature monitoring mechanism was executed to those working personnel came back from China to Vietnam. At present, Unite 1 of the Hai Duong power plant has completed ignition and is entering into complete set-up stage.
