On July 12 local time, Gouna North power station, part of Egypt 35.7MW Distributed Photovoltaic (PV) Power Station Project, was successfully connected to the grid.

The whole Project, with Energy China as the EPC contractor, is equipped with 4 distributed rooftop PV power stations and 4 ground-mounted PV systems. Once completed, it will ease local electricity shortage and contribute to local economic and social development.
