The Zhangbei-Xiongan 1000 kV UHV transmission project, which was mainly designed by Energy China (@EnergyChinaNews), was officially put into operation on August 29. Covering Xiongan New Area, Hebei Province, this project is the first UHV transmission project transmitting clean energy (including wind energy and photovoltaic power). It can not only meet the new energy transmission needs for Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, but also guarantee that only green energy is used during the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. At the same time, it will also provide continuous clean energy for Xiongan New Area.
