Located in Tengeh Reservoir, Singapore, the 60MW Floating Solar Farm Project has officially started recently. This project is being undertaken by the Shanxi Electric Power Exploration & Design Institute, a subsidiary of #Energy China(@EnergyChinaNews). Once completed, the project will be Singapore's largest floating solar farm, as well as one of the biggest floating solar farms in the world. In process of designing the 60MWp solar photovoltaic system, smart technologies and sustainable materials are featured strongly. Every component of the system was carefully designed and selected based on Singapore's climate conditions in order to maximize energy generation and minimize potential impact on environment and water quality.
