Energy China and Bangladesh Jalalabad Electric Power Company Signed the EPC Contract for the 600 MW Anwara Gas Fired Combined Cycle Power Plant Project
Energy China and Bangladesh Jalalabad Electric Power Company signed the EPC contract for the 600 MW Anwara Gas Fired Combined Cycle Power Plant Project on December 10. As the largest LNG gas turbine project in the Chittagong area of Bangladesh, the project covers the construction of a 600 MW H-class gas combined cycle generator set, and will generate up to 5 billion kWh of electricity annually. After completion, the project will significantly alleviate the current power shortage in the Chittagong area of Bangladesh and even the southeast of Bangladesh, playing an important role in Bangladesh’s effort to accelerate industrial development.
