On January 21, 2021, with Energy China as the EPC contractor, the Vinh Tan 1 Thermal Power Plant Phase I 2×620 MW Unit was awarded the "National Quality Construction Project" and the "National Quality Construction Project Design" by the Government of Vietnam. Presented by the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, these awards honor the best construction and design projects in various industries, and represent the highest honor for the quality of construction projects in Vietnam.
