With China Gezhouba Group, a subsidiary of Energy China(@EnergyChinaNews) as the EPC contractor, the Uzbekistan Sirdarya 1500 MW CCGT Independent Power Project started the pile test on March 18. This marks the official start of the foundation works of the project. This is the largest CCGT project in Central Asia, whose contract was signed at the beginning of this year, and its construction began on Jan. 24.
