The No. 15 unit on the right bank of the Baihetan Hydropower Station was officially put into operation on July 17. China Gezhouba Group, a subsidiary of Energy China, undertook its installation and debugging work. The No. 15 unit is the third unit to officially start generating power. The total installed capacity of the Baihetan Hydropower Station is 16000 MW, with 8 units of million-kilowatt capacity on each bank. It is expected to be fully put into operation in July 2022. After that, its daily power generation will meet the demand of 500,000 people’s annual energy consumption.
