On September 20th, the commencement ceremony for Arctech Jeddah 5GW Solar Energy Factory Phase I Project contracted by China Energy Construction Group has been held, marking the official start of the construction phase of the Project.

The project is located in the Jeddah 3rd Industrial Park, Saudi Arabia, 60 km2 from Jeddah Port. It has a construction area of about 35,679.72 km2 and includes 2workshops, 1 administrative office complex, 2 distribution rooms, 2 air compressor rooms, firewater reservoirs, domestic water pools, equipment foundations, outdoor supporting works and other structures. After the completion of the Project, the factory of Arctech will produce trackable structures sufficient for annual electricity generated of 5GW in Saudi Arabia.
