The Manah II solar independent power project in Oman, undertaken by CPECC Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd., a CEEC subsidiary, has recently passed a successful performance test after 120 hours of continuous operation.

The project's performance metrics have exceeded the requirements outlined in the EPC contract, signaling the achievement of its initial commercial operation target.

The project team has consistently upheld stringent construction standards and surmounted various challenges, including complex terrain, harsh weather conditions, and limited resources.

Through meticulous project management, the team has ensured the safe and efficient implementation of the project, maintaining a balance between quality and progress.

Situated in the photovoltaic industrial park in Oman's Manah region, the project is a key component under Oman's Vision 2040.

With a total installed capacity of 588.2 MW and an area of approximately 680.35 hectares, the project is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by around 340,000 tons annually.

The project is crucial for meeting local industrial and residential electricity demands and fostering sustainable economic and social development.
