On July 31, the hydrostatic pressure test of the high-pressure system of the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) for the Uzbekistan 550MW Jizzakh CCPP Project, constructed by Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully completed on the first attempt. This achievement marks another major milestone in the project's construction and lays a solid foundation for the subsequent commissioning and commercial operation.

The project adopts internationally advanced combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) technology and has a designed installed capacity of 550MW, making it a key project under Uzbekistan's national energy development strategy.

Upon completion, the project is expected to generate approximately 3.7 billion kWh of electricity annually, meeting the power demand of over one million households. At the same time, it will reduce carbon emissions by about 500,000 tonnes per year, significantly optimizing the regional energy structure and providing stable and clean energy support for Uzbekistan's industrial development and residential power supply.
